29 LONDON Workshop Studio

For this second architectural trip in Britain, we find an identical surface to the mini-pavilion 23 Tokyo - integrated in the urban center. In order to rehabilitate an old single-storey workshop in a comfortable 2-room London docks, it was necessary to preserve its brick facade recalling the
appearance of industrial warehouses of the town.
The Victorian style only appears through little details as panoramic windows with small tiles or white stone frames; the bronze headbands and the golden
yellow button color skillfully bring out the warmth of the brick;
There are 2 accesses: a classical armored entrance door, as well as an automatic sliding blind opening on a small interior courtyard.This inner courtyard of 3 meters by 8 brings out large windows corresponding to the main rooms; it is also endowed with a small corner of greenery and a small fountain.
