Tool-less Modular Knockdown System - This object is part of a full system of tool-less, knockdown furniture. Each furniture element is a combination of "base" components (various interchangeable flats and connectors) used to create a finished piece. For example, a coffee table is a combination of 2 Set "A" and a Set "B". A small shelf unit is built from a Set "A", 2 Set "B" and 3 Set "C". Finished pieces are instruction dependent, thus allowing for multiple variations with the stock parts.

The illuminated ends of the rods on the top map out Orion and at the base, Gemini. The heavy, solid birch base floats above the floor and under the table top, defying it's weight.

Constructed of hand-selected and planed construction studs, this table was made with less than $10 of material.
