Textile Designer — New York, NY
I am a freelance textile designer with professional experience in the apparel and home goods industry. I love fashion, interior design, stationery, art, and travel. My passion for textile design comes directly from my previous 10-year career as a dancer and choreographer. Integral to the art of dance is fabric and costumes and my growing love of this aspect of the craft is why I decided to become a textile designer. Repeats, patterns, flow, editing, movement, texture, color, curiosity, mood, attraction and technique all inspire me. I am currently seeking both full-time and freelance work in and around New York City.
