Medical Illustration — Asheville, NC
DNA Illustrations is a biomedical visualization company specializing in custom concept illustrations for editorial use. The principal illustrators each have nearly 20 years of experience working with images dealing with surgery, anatomy, disease process, patient education and immunology.
“As Group Art Director for Advanstar Communications, Alexandra was my “go to” illustrator for several of the clinical B2B journals I art directed. Time and time again, Alex created innovative cover illustrations, on time, on budget and exceeded expectations on a consistent basis. She pitched concepts that were unique and out-of-the-box, when we were fresh out of ideas on subjects that were well traveled. Alex also provided polished spot art developed from pencil sketches submitted by medical personnel. I thoroughly enjoyed the creative exchange with Alex on every project.”
