Bunkspeed Imagery. I worked for Bunkspeed for a short time to help them get some decent images out of early versions of their software and to generate interest and sales in many of California's OEM car manufacturers.
I photo composited this image from HDRI rendered CAD model of the lexus GS and an existing photo of a vehicle in the desert. I added more dust to the rear and spun the wheels, the driver is added from another image also.

Bunkspeed Imagery. I created this image in bunkspeed from incomplete vehicle date. I modeled the light internals in Rhino and Alias and rendered the vehicle in a studio scene.

Bunkspeed Imagery. I managed to get hold of some Nascar vehicle data and modified it to look like the latest Nascar. I cut the decals and logos into the surface (at this point Bunkspeed had no decal application capabilities) and then rendered the vehicle with HDRI track images then composited onto California race way. The motion blur is added in post along with wheel spin.

This was my first rental car in the US. A Ford Aspire. I'm not sure what it aspires to be but it got the racer treatment. Repaint, graphics, wheels, side exhausts and carbon hood...I should probably get out more...

I created this model in Rhino as a personal project. The model is based on vehicle package drawings, photo reference and scale models. Most of the car is modeled, inside, outside and under the skin. This image is rendered in Artlantis in several layers that I then composited in Photoshop.
