The redesigned directory. I wanted it to have both a modern and rustic feel to emphasize the kind of area that Gastown is. It is a heritage area that has had a lot of modern renovations to it's buildings.

Wayfinding Project - Gastown

For this project, I decided to revamp the Gastown district directories and, since it is a historical district, create plaques for each of the historical buildings in the area. I chose to do a sample of the buildings to just get the idea across as well as created a brochure that would serve as a guide to touring the historical buildings of Gastown.

I also created a basic brand standards manual to show in more detail what was chosen and proportions.

This project was a challenge because I have only had a 2 hour class on wayfinding and environmental graphic design.
