Spring 2014 collection is inspired by textile artist Sonia Delaunay's geometric compositions. I borrowed the primary colors that she used and also the geometric patterns she was known for. She was well-known in the 1920s and the flapper style is also adapted into this collection.
Inspired by Sonia Delaunay's heyday, I used the drop waist silhouette from flapper style dresses for my wovens collection. I also liked the idea of feminizing the strong geo prints with sheer fabrics. There is also embroidery on the sheer overlay dress and the cold shoulder top.
