Spin Me Baby Right 'Round Embroidery

Embroidery and beading using sourced vintage flat turquoise beads. I was inspired by the shape and color of the beads. I wanted to make a contemporary bead layout with a young female consumer (age 18-25) as the target customer. The bright color combination and simple is reminiscent of late 1980s -early1990s design. I also constructed the yarn dyed linen shirt using a 1980s boxy shaped vintage pattern.
