Thanks for your suggestion Antoine. These photos are actually from a collection I designed several years ago, and the ones with text were made for posters that needed text large enough to read from a distance at our trade shows. :)

I like these, but the typeface reads a bit large on some of the images (assuming they are for web and not print). Scaling the text down and moving it away from the margins may help your cause.
