To celebrate their original American Hefeweizen, Widmer Brothers needed a fresh identity & package that was iconic and could stand out against the competitors. A shortened "Hefe" communicated a fresh look from a common name and proved to resonate on shelf. By using the bold black and yellow, a typeface with a nod to it's heritage, and a simple sophisticated design, the brand now
stands proud on it's own.
