Marsh Madness - 2010 Teaser Postcard - This is a small postcard sized teaser to start generating interest in the running event. Registration had not been open during the distribution and was intended to increase online traffic.
Marsh Madness - 2010 Poster - In 2010 the client requested making the name the prominent element instead of the logo. So I chose to use the stems from the logo to draw the eye down to the name of the event. I chose to use a black background to allow the lime green to be more prominent.
Marsh Madness - 2009 Poster - In 2009 I decided to take a more colorful and illustrated approach to the design of the poster. I mimicked the grass and fox tails from the previous years poster. I also created rays of color to represent the rising sun during the early run.

Marsh Madness - 2008 Poster - This is an annual running event hosted by the Palo Alto Family YMCA. I chose to use a vibrant photo that I had taken the previous year. I also added grass and fox tails to give more of a marsh look to the poster.
