Large Rectifier - Coke to Water Machine
This one off machine splits Coca-Cola into drinking water and a sugar sludge. It can automatically process 2 litres of cola in 25 minutes yielding ~1.5 litres of water.
I use satire to engage audiences on the sometimes dark relationships between industry and environment. My industrial sculptures and the issues they speak to are either failing promises or promising follies. I blend, bend, hack, and remix technologies and machine aesthetics to disassociate a process from a given period or intended purpose, suggesting an alternate history or prospective future.
