The Eco Kettle is thus named because of its 80°C boil point rather than 100°C boil point allowing the kettle to save 30% more energy. If every one in the UK used an Eco Kettle they would save 1270mWs per year. The kettle is designed to hold 250ml of water, enough for two large mugs of tea or coffee. Two led lights, one at the rim of the charging station and the LG logo itself allows the user to know when the kettle has finished heating. The unique position of the ergonomic rubber handle allows the user to easy fill the kettle in a small or overloaded sink. By replacing the standard lid with a spring loaded, flip down alternative enables the user to fill the kettle with greater ease.
