PROFESSIONAL DESIGN EXPERIENCE

INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER; EK SUCCESS BRANDS, Clifton, NJ; Aug 2010 - Aug 2012
As a lead designer on a dozen products that have gone to market, I collaborated with 7 fellow industrial design teammates developing tools for Martha Stewart Crafts, Perler Beads, Inkadinkado, and EK Tools. An integral part of the design team, my contributions included design research, concept development, rapid-prototyping, facilitating meetings with our licenses and brand managers, and communicating directly with engineers and manufacturers in Asia.

INTERACTION/GRAPHIC DESIGNER; Freelance 2009-Present
Executed, logo design, branding, and interaction design for clients including:
Le Chic Travel, Park Place Equity, NightJockey, Plaza Bridge Group, Reservation Tonight, Hey Alfred, Trivestigen, and The Leddy Institute.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER (Intern); HELIX DESIGN, Manchester, NH; Summer 2008
Worked closely with lead designers, engineers, and model-makers on a variety of projects. Responsibilities included participation in brainstorming sketch sessions, developing research boards for project development discussions, building foam sketch models, rendering final concepts for client presentations, and meeting deadlines under tight time frames.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER (Intern); DRIVVEN DESIGN, Phoenix, AZ; Summer 2007
Collaborated with designers, engineers and marketing staff, producing a diverse range of projects aimed at meeting the needs of consumers with limited mobility and dexterity. Participated in in-depth research, new product brainstorming and development, mechanical problem solving, model-making & prototyping, graphic design, and Alias 3-D modeling.
