Lake Sunapee Bank requested a new brand look in their advertising. Designs were recommended (the top two were presented but never produced) which highlighted engaging imagery that reinforced the headline and support copy at a glance. Arrows and brackets were introduced as accent elements to draw attention to and insinuate growth and movement. The same template offered flexibility for The Nashua Bank advertising by simply customizing the logo, copy and corporate colors.
An additional brand series was created for commercial lending which is seen below. The design template needed to be different but still be true to the brand image. It complemented the consumer branding in style of photography, simple messaging and similar page layout.
The client requested a testimonial ad direction be pursued to promote their business banking division. Skinny Pancakes was in the process of expanding their business by adding a new location. Step 1: propose a photo style and composition using royalty free websites. The image top left was presented: it captured the owners casual down-to-earth personality along with an intimate interaction. Since renovations were not going to be completed for the shoot, the image needed to replicate a similar setting. Step 2: scouting photos were taken for potential camera angles (lower left). Unexpectedly, renovations were not completed for the photoshoot so much clean up and moving of items were required to get the shot you see. Our initial angle wasn't possible due to ongoing construction and time constraints. The bank ended up preferring the more staged pose vs interaction poses.
The Rewards Mastercard promotion was rolled out with ATM displays ads and updated brochures. The creative needed to be eye catching and enticing to the consumer. Rewards in the headline were chosen which would be appealing to both men and women.
The media plan for a new financial center in Concord, NH included a pre-opening full page ad (11.25"w x 21"h) and direct mailer in the form of an oversized postcard. Once the center was open a smaller ad (11.25"w x 10.5"h) was placed along with an oversized postcard mailed. The new branch was slated to be very contemporary in decor with an open concept layout. Royalty free photos were researched for the now open series which relayed a welcoming and contemporary feel while being abstract enough to not see within the glass.
