are you thinking drop pockets then? just keep that crazy rube goldberg machine out from under the table?

Maybe a Lexan top with just outer supports, or even a suspended table would be nice, it the cables wouldn't get in the way....

Yeah i would have to agree... i'm sure they were trying to make the ball return visible and obvious, but i think it takes away from the design, too.

That's the first time i've seen that! It looks like it response similar to felt tops. Very cool idea, I just wish the sub frame wasn't so distracting. It almost ruins the beauty and simplicity of the table.
