PD4A - Today more than 673 million people worldwide are older than 60 years of age. In addition, the aging of the world’s population is on the increase. This population development brings with it a corresponding increase in the importance placed on the needs of older people. Society’s adjustment to these needs will become an issue.
This will only be able to be done via the design of products that are able to take into consideration the needs of consumers of every age. The focus of the project Packaging Design 4 All was the design of product packaging that allowed older people to remain independent, irrespective of their age and physical condition.
