Site Analysis & Visual - The aim of the project was straight forward to design and construct something for the streets of London to assist my client the London Metropolitan Police to tackle knife crime issues. My proposal is a new and rational idea for the bustops we have in London in today’s society. My design is able to detect knife simply by having an x-ray panel installed at the rear of the shelter if detects the mark will be sprayed with a very small quantity of this particular fluid visible to the London Met.
Design Development - The inspiration a close friend Robert levy who was a victim to Knife crime on the 16th September 2004 his death has inspired me to design and introduce this concept idea for The London Metropolitan Police. The design is also got tribute aspect for the victims that have been murdered their names will be pressed onto metal strips which are embedded into the actual pavement as the bus shelter moves around the streets of London the metal strips will remain in the pavement as a tribute.
