Brand Whore Logo - Brand Whore was a Fashion label concept for the young, hip and witty. A mix of clean and grungy design, this concept was designed to be somewhere between Urban and Urbane, sprinkled with a bit of irony.
Dark Matter Logotype - I worked on the branding extensively for this project as well, and was pretty excited about getting to help this local gaming establishment get off the ground and running.
Dark Matter Acronym - As a happy coincidence, the acronym for Dark Matter Games is DMG, a common abbreviation for "damage" in the gaming world. Thus, I made sure to design a few ancillary pieces for them utilizing the acronym.

Shirt Concept for Dark Matter - The owners wanted to create some tee shirts in order to promote the store at local gaming events.
Meat Logotype - 2008. I created this custom typography in Adobe Illustrator for a comic book about serial killers.

Custum Typography for Ophelia a Go Go - This was a piece of typography designed for use on the bands album covers, flyers and stickers. The fusion of a rigid digital font and a flowy script creates an interesting contrast.
Eight Eyes Logo - Eight Eyes was originally slated to be called Black Widow, but I wound up pitching a more unique moniker in the end, while still keeping to the arachnid theme. In fact, the red dot is a nod to the coloring of the aforementioned deadly spider.

Paper Tiger logo - Paper Tiger is a media company unlike virtually all other media companies. They scorn large budgets and corporate sponsorship, choosing to spread their product through the educational system as well as by mail order. So to create a logo for this entity, I began by working low-tech and low-budget, ripping paper, using a traditional black and white copier, as well as hand-drawn ink illustrations. After many iterations, and some revamped typography, this was the outcome.

Evil Cupcake typography - This custom-distressed piece was created for a small boutique which was to sell a line of eccentric shirts, bags and other consumer goods. They never got off the ground, but the concept was pretty interesting.

JotPad logo - JotPad created a line of notebooks for creatives that were designed to handliy fit in a pocket , in order to be accessible for any random-location, spur-of-the-moment sketching, ideas, or note-taking. Available in blank, grid, lined, or a combination of the three.

Igloo logo - Igloo is a company that provides fruity mixers with which to concoct icy, delicious, refreshing adult beverages. I revamped their old, rather dull logo into something a bit more fun, young, and fit for a party.
Design from Senior Thesis - As a designer with a focus on print media, my senior thesis was about the viability of print media in the future. Would periodicals be replaced entirely by the Internet within my lifetime? Within a decade? The future felt uncertain. I created a series of small posters to provoke thoughts along these lines, and hopefully get designers into important dialogues about the future of design. For this piece, I actually cut up a copy of my thesis, and created type from the remnants.
