My role is to oversee all the groups RnD in the USA + some projects in the UK, based from the corporate offices in New York.

My role was to head up RnD for two manufacturing companies, based from the corporate office in New York.

My role was to manage the design and implementation of a new roofing system.
• I designed over 200 different components, aluminum extrusions, injection moldings, pressure die castings, vac forming’s…etc.

My main role was to design new machines and make alterations to existing machines. In my time there I designed 2 completely new patented machines, a crank driven shaker which incorporated the rosta spring system and a primary screening trommel (9rpm) driven by 4 No. hydraulic motors. Both machines were modular units, each comprising of two 20ft containers. As well as the design work I was arranging transport for equipment all over the world, this required me to liaise with clients and often make important scheduling decisions. I was also in charge of ordering spare parts and meeting with suppliers to negotiate price.
