Rapid prototyping using Bristol board and dowels allowed me to explore tactile cues. This design, though functional, was not advanced because of the likelihood that individual cups would be lost.

Haptic Measuring Cup
This accessible design for the visually impaired focuses on intuitive tactile cues to allow the user to measure kitchen ingredients with maximum ease and confidence. Multiple prototypes explore how changes in form affect use, informed by blindfolded testing. A final model, chosen for its simple and intuitive design, was rendered in CAD and 3D printed.
