LUNA

Fall 2021
LUNA is a handcrafted lamp made of ambrosia maple wood that features a sliding shutter, as well as interchangeable resin filters. It is meant to be a relatively small mood light that features the ability to change its brightness and color non-electronically. This product was real and sold for $40 a piece, with each filter costing $2 per color. A batch of 16 was produced for the semester, and sold in a popup shop at the University of Illinois on November 15th, 2021. All units were sold within the first hour. Packaging was also designed and hand screen-printed with the logo in the school's labs. This was a group collaboration project with 2 other students under the team name PixDesign.
