Cabin Retreat
Cabin Retreat, Cold Spring, KY - The objective was to design a sustainable cabin retreat that could be occupied year-round. In order to create the feeling of being totally surrounded by trees, I lifted the cabin off the ground and clad it in floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors; this allowed 360-degree views out to the forest and also utilizes the trees as a natural shading device. All presentation drawings for this project were drawn and rendered using Autodesk Revit.
