Fernald Nature Preserve
Fernald Nature Preserve - Located in Fernald, OH, this nature preserve is part of the final stages of the renewal campaign for the Fernald Preserve. The program for the visitor center required that it meet LEED Gold certification, educated and connected visitors to the history and reclamation of the site, and become a community resource. The layered nature of the site and its history (both ecological and anthropological) and the multiple connections between the two became the inspiration for my design.
