This is the box cover illustration for the board game Motocross unplugged for Good Ole Games. I also did the artwork for the game cards and game pieces. It was fun capturing the energy and excitement that comes with the whole motocross scene. Its a super fun game! Check it out for yourself at your local Target stores.
Did this for the Miami Herald for the Miami Dolphins Football Preview marketing campaign. Got to work with my buddy Bill Whiddon again, who gave me the first of many freelance illustration assignments some 20 something years ago. What a fun job!!! This one almost drew itself!
Another illustration created for the great folks at Mindtwister USA. This one as a box cover for the dice game Fandooble. I love the tagline: The only thing more fun than stealing gold from a Dragon...is stealing it from your friends! Fun game! Got free reign to do what I wanted with the characters I created...awesome assignment!
Creating the art for this gameboard box cover and the characters for the game pieces was a real treat! Combining my passions for art and skateboarding in one shot is something that doesn't come around often enough! I like the grumpy man poking his head out the window as if saying,"Hey, keep it down out there you crazy kids...I'm trying to watch the baseball game!" We've all experienced that growing up at some time or another :-)
Full page illustration for Texas Parks and Wildlife for an article called "Bloodsuckers". Pretty self-explanatory I believe. ;-)
Promotional illustration used in my Adbase email and snail mail campaign to alert folks about our relocation to the mountains of North Carolina. Love how the goldfish looks, as if he's sayin'..."What the...".
Illustration created for Scholastic about an overdue library book that was discovered to be 221 years late and originally checked out by George Washington himself. Sheeesh! Wonder what a late fee like that would cost?
Illustration for an article about using coolers during the hot Texas summers. I sweat just looking at those cacti and the car...I remember those Texas summers oh so well.
Originally done in scratchboard for the Washington Post then redone digitally. Tax time....kind of feels like getting in and out of sleeper holds.
Game box cover for the board game Captain Clueless by Ceaco. Don't think the bucket is gonna help...I'm just sayin'.
Illustration for a magazine article about customer service in companies. So I guess this is what it looks like on the other end of the line when you are put on hold with customer service.
Advertising illustration used on a poster for KFC and Taco Bell called "Rumble On The River" to announce a rubber duckie river race. Just wondering...if rubber duckies are missin' any teeth is it real or just painted on rubber like that?
