Just a bit of fun modelling some robots

Yeah I did a coulple of front and side sketches in photoshop then made a super quick box model to get the form and general pose, then back to photoshop for a paint over. Fun, wish i had more time to do more :)

Cheers guys. Appreciate the likeys! It's actually a 3DS Max model, rendered out with basic materials and with textures/ effects applied in Photoshop. I did this workflow so that I can repose the robot whenever.

Thanks guys, this is a 3d model created in 3ds max. The only work i did in photoshop was the text you can see and the neon lighting. It was really fun to model. I'm working on another one in my spare time so hopefully i will post it up here soon! Thanks!

thats mental, if i attempted that in Solidworks i'd loose a few weeks of my life i think.

Thanks, would have probably taken 2 days if i'd done it all at once, but i've been fitting it around other work. Now that he's built i can pose and animate him. But now that i've made the mechanisms it'll be a lot faster to build other robots as I can harvest parts.
