Work History

I am an Industrial Design graduate from the University of Strathclyde. I am studying Msc Design for Interaction at TU Delft. I am passionate about creating great, useful products with superb usability and user experience. Besides industrial design I am passionate about 3D modeling and concept art. I am always looking for opportunities to put my skills to use and develop them further so drop me a line if my work interests you. To those seeking information about the Velok bike rack. I am currently developing an improved system and am interested in enquiries. ___________________________________ 2011 (summer) Thales NL - Interface development Developing user interfaces to support command and control. Can't say much about this for legal reasons, but focus was on sketching interactions and developing interactive mockups as well as animations of interactions. Mainly used Photoshop, Illustrater and a lot of Flash. 2007-09 Howarth Switchgear Ltd. Two years manufacturing experience working primarily with sheetmetal fabrications and low voltage electrical systems. Hands on manufacturing experience gained. 2007-08 Hexagol Industrial Partnership - Product development In an industrial partnership between the University of Strathclyde and Hexagol I worked to develop products that would help the client cross into the sports consumer market. My focus was primarily on the development of a soccer target electronic feedback system. Design Drawing Skills: Sketching, Rendering, Assembly Drawings, Perspective, Technical Layouts Design Software Skills: Pro/Engineer, 3DS Max - Vray and Mental Ray rendering, Solidworks, Google Sketchup Pro, Adobe Creative Suite 3, Microsoft Office Suite Machinery Skills: 3D Printing, CNC Lathe, Vertical Mill, Turret press, metal work, basic welding experience. Material Skills: Blue Foam, Woodwork, Clay Moulding, Sheet Metal Fabricating, Acryllic Vacuum Forming, Cardboard Sketch Modelling.
