Hinged Cat
Hinged Dog - I was commissioned by Gryphon Design Collective to Illustrate this Hinged Dog in spirit of the Hinged Cat. The two will sell as a series with Gryphon.

Krampus - In Pre-Christian Pagan Beliefs; Krampus was Saint Nicholas' Demon accomplice who tortured the bad children on Christmas by means of "birching," nightmares, and unstoppable midnight sleigh rides. He was also the bearer of coal in the stocking, originally. This painting was featured and sold at the Fools Mansion's "Krampus" themed show in Salem, MA through the holiday season of 2009.

Gorillas Unexpected - A block print and pen and ink illustration
Dilemma - For anyone unfamiliar with scratchboard illustration- a clayboard is covered in ink and then scratching tools of varying sizes are used to remove the ink line by line. With scratchboards one creates light rather than shadow. I was inspired by stories of pirates that once inhabited Aruba when I visited and I created this illustration based on those concepts
