Digital Super8 - As Kodak officially discontinued Super8 film stock production, a glut of beautiful well maintained cameras hit the auctions. Film students had no choice but to sell their cameras and shoot on such banal media as Hi8 video. At exactly the same time, Kodak shifted corporate focus to digital products; providing a solution to their own problem. Digital Super8 would be a storage device and image sensor packaged into the dimensions of the original film cartridge.
