I.T. – Microsoft power point & excel, CAD knowledge in Adobe photoshop/illustrator and Autodesk sketchbook pro.

Research – Building various primary and secondary sources to apply to the task, compiling shop reports as well as building trend, market and conceptual research.

Design – Hand sketching/line drawing, rendering images, pattern cutting.

Technical – Specification sheets, range plan sheets, awareness on leather and various materials, clicking and closing, machine sewing and hand lasting prototypes.

Work Experience

Nicholas Kirkwood Studio, London, 2/2011
Gained an insight into a luxury footwear design studio, assisted the designer in adjusting the designs prior to London Fashion Week. Adhered randing to sole edges and altered the insoles to match the uppers and heel piece.
