Hand sketches to establish product location. Dark grey sections represent areas in which elements of the product could be placed and how such positioning could affect its performance.
Sketch views exploring form and semantics. Yellow sections represent soft elastomer mouldings whilst the grey denotes fabric mesh to be in contact with the skin.
Final model entered for the RSA design awards 2008. Concept shows shape memory alloy tendons used to substitute those paralysed in the users hand and wrist.
