Ord-Bot Melbourne

Collaboration to create an “army” of 3D printers (Ord-Bots), the idea of creating a group of around 12-17 students and two professors to assemble and program a printer was born as part of an additive manufacture class.

The project consisted in outsourcing electronic and mechanical pieces, to be able to then start the assembly, during which troubleshooting was done to resolve any problems or glitches the DIY model of the ‘Ord-Bot’ had.
