Project 1: “Green Home”

Material: ceramics and acrilic.

The Project consisted in the use of ceramics to create a vegetable life container.

Taking this brief we created ‘aqua:nidum’, a hydroponic cultivating system that allows you to grow plants in a natural way and in reduced spaces.

The concept of ‘aqua:nidum’ is inspired in the nest of a bird , from which the angular shapes come from and at the same time transmits protection. Another element of inspiration was water, since it is elemental for the plan to grow and the base of the system we used.

The system consists of three stages, the first one of germination where the plants grow until they can be transplanted into one of the bigger pots, which conforms the second stage and finally harvesting.
