Work History

Education Auburn University, Auburn, AL -Earned Bachelor’s Degree of Industrial Design. -Graduated with honors (Cum Laude - 3.61 GPA) August 2009. Design Experience Industrial Designer - Big Time Products (August 2011 - Present) -Develop and maintain brand identity and standards for numerous brands of gloves. -Design and maintain packaging for all products currently sold in retail environments. -Communicate with overseas vendors and manufacturers. Designer - ARINC Engineering Services (Department of Defense Contractor) - Huntsville, AL (November 2009 - August 2011) -Responsible for creating initial conceptual designs for projects that focus on improving military helicopter communication equipment. -Construct detailed 3D conceptual models (parts and assemblies) using Solidworks. -Draft prototype technical drawing packages using Solidworks and AutoCAD. -Write initial installation and assembly procedures for complex assemblies and installations. Design Intern - Concept Center International at Techtronic Industries - Anderson, SC (Summer-Fall 2008) -Worked with marketers and designers to create numerous concepts aimed at hand tool and tool case innovation projects. -Developed sketching and presentation techniques using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Painter. -Produced numerous labels for branding and user interaction for products in the Outdoor Tools Division. -Utilized Microsoft Excel while working with engineers and designers to produce Product Finish Specification Sheets for new products -Developed and demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines. EASTMAN Chemical Corporation Sponsored Studio - Auburn, AL (spring 2007) -Conceptualized and created in-store Point of Purchase displays constructed primarily of Eastman’s VIVAK plastic. -Extensive hands on work with forming and bonding EASTMAN’s VIVAK plastic. -Final product was featured with select others on EASTMAN’s Innovation Lab website.
