Battery Powered-USB Charger

Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
Solidworks Rendering Perspective - This project was originally for my electronics class where we soldered together a circuit board and the rest of the components of an AA battery powered USB charger. I then expanded on the project, and designed a casing for the components, to be cut out of 1/8" Plexiglas on a laser cutter. Furthermore I decided to do a quick rendering to make this a nice addition into my portfolio. It was necessary to incorporate into the design a way to open up and change the batteries.
