Light Up Thesis
Light-Up - This is my thesis that I did during my last year of school. Light-Up is a solar lighting system for the third world Northern Regions of Ghana.
Some components are made locally for example the aluminum chassis, which also acts as a heat sink, is made locally using local materials, aluminum. Ghana is one of the worlds last extractors of aluminum, so this make it an ideal material to use. The chassis is also manufactured using local techniques, lost wax casting.
