While at IADT, Kat maintained a 3.97 GPA with core studies in hospitality, residential, contract and sustainable design along with AutoCAD and computer and hand rendering.

Kat was fortunate enough to intern at Rick Swisher Architect, Inc. in Winter Park. She assisted the interior designer and lead architect in a variety of tasks for a restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort. She now is currently working there as the sole interior designer and has completed projects not only at the Walt Disney World Resort, but at the Orlando International Airport as well.
