Aztec stone lion toy--rendering - There was a really good reason that there were holes all over this toy....but I forget why. Some kind of key, maybe. I also don't think the Aztecs (or Mayans) actually had any lions, but that's what was wanted, so....

Monthly Preview Magazine cover art - Cover art produced for a local magazine. Drawn with rapidographs on paper, finished with Zip-A-Tone.
Bootstrap walking toy rendering - This toy was designed to look like a pile of junk in its "collapsed" state. The legs and tail sections were joined to the body by lengths of thin cable; when the cable was loose, the sections assumed a jumbled appearance.
However, when the cables were all tightened by a motorized central reel, the leg and tail sections would pull together and self-align, allowing the creature to stand up from the post-apocalyptic future (junky) landscape.

Monster Dump Truck - Rendering of a proposal for a line of construction vehicles that have been heavily modified and equipped with blown, high-power engines.
Backhoe of Death - Another in the series of hopped-up construction vehicles.
Drawing the V-shaped treads on the tires was interesting, particularly since this was done in the pre-computer days of the early 80s.
Honda Elite Ride-On - Rendering of a design proposal for an electric ride-on based on the Honda Elite scooter design.
Jeep Ride-On with Suspension - Rendering of a proposal for a Jeep electric ride-on with working suspension.
Thunder Tracker - Treaded vehicle design proposal. Vehicle has independently pivoting tread assemblies.

Alarm Cars - Rendering of a proposal for model cars that each contain a different electronic device--a radio, a calculator, and so on. Each car has a motion-activated alarm that will go off if an unauthorized person attempts to take it.
Mecha Triceratops - Rendering of a proposed final design for the Bootstrap self-assembling robotic vehicle/creature.
