Current wakeboard bindings can be difficult to take off in the water, taking up to a minute and a half to release yourself from the board. This new concept is similar to a snowboard binding, but only uses one ratchet for attachment. The anchor points are on the rails and clip onto the boot, rather than rely on the ratchets to hold the boot in. Having one ratchet decreases time needed to release and attach the boot to the board.
