stone boat, beijing - A hand-built traditional Chinese stone boat on Beijing's central Ritan park. Situated on a lake skirted by willows and oaks, with its outdoor stage thrust out over the water, this was a great place for night owls.

capella, cortina italia - Found a wash of light coming through a narrow pass in the famous ski village of Cortina, Italy. Thin enough to be a dispersed prism, the light naturally fell in a sweet color gradation across the side of the church.

piano (destroyed by savage aural hotbed) - Savage Aural Hotbed is a supremely original found-object band. Way way before STOMP and the like, these guys were sawing oil drums and shooting flame throwers. I helped them destroy a piano on stage, and this is part of the remains :)
