Greening the Beige 1 - Fully illustrated logo for Greening the Beige, an annual eco-arts festival held in Beijing, China. The 3-day event features keynote speakers, concerts, theater, art exhibits, fashion shows, workshops for all ages, green vendors, and more.
Logo includes a real Beijing skyline atop the 'Greening' mark, a local lotus, and many hidden animals within the tree. Check it out in the large size :)

Greening the Beige 1 wordmark - Logo for Greening the Beige, a Beijing eco-arts festival I helped start (headed by Burning Man's Carissa Welton). At the top of "Greening" is a real skyline from Beijing, and the logo's fill elements suit the theme wonderfully.

Open Mic Nite - Logo for a weekly literary event that I formerly hosted. Held in Beijing's famous literary hub, the Bookworm. Lots of fun - we must have had 40+ languages at one time or another, and lots of clever folks who could do wonderful live translations. Rockin'.

NUDE - Logo for a custom-couture fashion brand based in Beijing, China. In Chinese culture, a green apple signifies enjoying sex before marriage. The letters in 'NUDE' are made from vinyl-clad porn-star legs in stiletto heels, and the neon green/pink/black scheme recalls early punk-rock errata.

Anthology - This logo is for the original Driftwords Anthology. As the publication brings together poets and writers from all over the world, in several languages, I chose to reflect this 'intersecting' nature in the logo. Blue patina aged wood for fill :)

Cresta Motor Yachts - Logo draft for what is perhaps the new paradigm of motor-yachts. We ended up going with a more 'forged-metal' / nautical theme for the final logo, but this was one of my favorites among earlier drafts. Cresta is a new Australian yacht producer, boasting twin 500hp engines. They be host major trophy fishing competitions, and offer the world's first million-dollar prize for a record Marlin.

JSX Design - Logo for JSX design, the graphical department of Shi Ji Jia Ming (SJJM). This firm does the interiors and graphics for YY Sports. YY sports is the largest shoe-producer in the world, and the largest athletic-wear vendor in China. They make and sell nearly everything for Nike, Reebok, Addidas, Kappa, North Face, Puma, Converse, etc.

Croisements Festival - This logo was designed by Dave Roberts and the Kroznot New Media crew. I did the recolor and new staging. Croisements is a massive arts, music, literature, dance, theater etc festival hosted by the Republic of France.

Beijing IMPROV logo - Logo for Beijing's first international theater sports troupe. Emulates the early theater signs made with all the little lights.

Zalgirio Musis (2) - Logo commemorating the 600 year anniversary of Zalgirio Musis (the Battle of Grunwald). The double-cross was the shield crest at the time. This version illustrates the hilltop from where Jogaila commanded the Poles. A pair of Teutonic knights cast two swords into the soil as a challenge. The Poles and Lithuanians, who won, adopted the 2 swords as a symbol of the battle.

Zalgirio Musis 600 - Logo for the 600 year commemoration of the Zalgirio Musis - the Battle of Grunwald.

Zalgirio Musis 3 - Logo commemorating the 600 year anniversary of the battle of Grunwald. The double-cross was the shield crest at the time. The climax of the battle was arguably when the Poles and Lithuanians completely encircled the Teutons, claiming the army and its commanders in one fell swoop.

YY Sports Logo (recolor) - I did the recolor on this one, but not the logo design. It used to be nearly every color in the rainbow, and I did the 'warm' version. This version was used before, during, and after the Olympic period (several years). YY Sports is the largest shoe manufacturer in the world (producing Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Kappa, etc), and the largest sportswear retailer in Asia.
