The Right Choice?
ABOVE: "My makeover taking their new 650cc Interceptor to a larger 850cc would have been my first change. Royal Enfield produced an Interceptor in the 1960's which did not favourably well against the Triumph and Norton's of the day. I ask in an even more competitive world will history repeat itself? I suggested a V-Twin (ON HERE) but if a retro parallel twin is their choice could it have been made with more a little consideration and higher feel of quality"?
Although I am not a fan of their new design I felt the need to do a cost effective budget makeover to see how far things could be improved, I'll let you decide but this is what I came up with...

Royal Enfield 650 to 850 Interceptor

A makeover to the Royal Enfirld 650 Interceptor, I felt it needed a little more character and identity of a British bike. If it is compete with the Triumph and Norton's etc it needs to be better than just cheaper. A V-Twin would have been better (On Here) as this parallel twin failed before to impress in the 1960's... and now they are doing a V-Twin...
