SHS Class Announcements Newsletter - Revamped design, and brought new life to newsletter for School of Human Services, at Springfield College, Springfield Campus. Newsletter increased internal communication for School of Human Services for students, faculty, and staff through monthly publication. This allowed for better efficiency of schools daily operations. I collaborated on a team which included the director of the school. Used as a model to showcase to other SHS campuses. Created in Photoshop and Publisher.
School of Human Services Job Search Packet - I created a Job Search Packet for the School of Human Services, at Springfield College, Springfield Campus. I collaborated with the Assistant Director of Administration, and took the lead in Art Direction. Job Search Packet was used for a large scale career fair in Springfield Mass to help job seekers in their job search. Created in Photoshop and Publisher.
Hyde Park Flyer - This was a flyer I designed for Hyde Park, which is a company that does the elaborate interior design of ceilings with moldings. I took the lead art direction and design for this project. The theme of this flyer was to have an artistic, aesthetic, and classic feel, which is represented in the work by the company. Turning Dreams into Reality Flyer - This is a flyer for Hyde Park, which is a company that does interior moldings, and architecture. I took the lead art direction, and lead design for flyer. The main theme of this design was communicating a message, and promoting the brand of the company. The goal was to keep the message simple, and keep the design aesthetically pleasing. This advertisement was created in Photoshop, and InDesign.
Bilingual Collegiate Program Poster - I took the lead art direction, and design on this project. BCP is an academic support program for students at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. The theme of the design was a collage piece to signify the 25 years of history of the program. This poster helped to generate a turn out that surpassed expectations, over 800 people in attendance. Increasing the revenue of last year’s event by 60%. This design was created in Photoshop, and PageMaker.
Junebug Jack Poster - Created poster design for New World Theater. I was the lead designer on this project, and collaborated with director on art direction. Design was done with the theme of a collage, and quilt style background. The background text is intended to create movement leading up to the title. Marketing of event with flyer helped to generate sold out shows on both nights, and acted as a catalyst to generate maximum revenue for both events. Poster designed in Photoshop, and PageMaker.
Two Tales from the Boroughs Table Tents & The Wedding March Brochure - Created branding, and marketing materials for two plays for New World Theater, at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. By taking lead design and creating table tents for the play Two Tales from the Borough helped to sell out both events. By creating a brochure for the play, The Wedding March informed viewers on the history and background for a unique performance. Created in Photoshop, PageMaker, and QuarkXpress.
Garden Calender for Arts Extension & Marketing Services - Assisted with the production of Garden Calendar, for Arts Extension and Marketing Services, at the University of Massachusetts, at Amherst. Lead the layout of graphics, and artwork for calendar. An article regarding the calendar was featured in the Boston Globe garden section. 20, 000 copies of calendar have been published, and distributed in the New England region. Calendar is 11x17 in size, and was created in PageMaker.
