Mark Brazee

Architectural consultant for insurers, law firms and contractors. I have worked on a variety of assignments including property loss through weather, vandalism, fire, water, and explosion. I have also been involved in invasive testing of building envelopes at multiple large residential properties.

I managed dozens of car wash, storage, and light manufacturing building projects from conceptual design through construction administration. I supervised 3-4 designers each day. I worked with civil, traffic, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, equipment consultants, and contractors daily. I also communicated weekly with clients, material vendors, and city and county building officials on planning and permit submittals.

I have provided input on planning, architectural and charter school issues during committee meetings.

I was responsible for assisting in design, production of design development and construction documents, specifications and construction administration for the addition to the Laramie County Detention Center, the remodel of the Laramie County Government Center and the Northern Colorado Law Enforcement Training Center. Also, I was responsible for construction administration for the Cheyenne Airport Terminal.

I was responsible for the short and long-term planning for the physical environment of the school. I helped oversee the condition of the facility and work with the maintenance staff and administration to provide regular assessments, reports and recommendations to the Board for improvements. I strived to develop relationships, inside and outside the school community, with individuals who have experience in school planning, design, construction, maintenance and real estate transactions, including regularly attending Aurora Public Schools Long- Range Facility Advisory Committee and USGBC Green Schools meetings. I created drawings for building improvements, led the submission of a BEST grant application and developed a facility master plan for the school.

I was active in developing the chapters' annual Green School Summit and promoting green schools through other events.

Project Manager for planning and development of the Front Range Community College campus in Longmont, Colorado. I designed and managed eight hospitality projects in Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona and Florida and helped produce over a dozen more hospitality projects as a job captain.
