Monograph Chapter Heading - Chapter heading for a prototype of a monograph on The Footlight Club, America's Oldest Community Theater. The original piece was hand-bound, researched, photographed, edited, and sometimes written by myself. I designed a cover, introductory pages, t.o.c., and a full chapter. Shown here and in next few slides are exerpts from the chapter.

Commemorative Stamps - This block of stamps was researched, designed and illustrated by myself. I love Spain and find a great deal of energy and movement in its unique cultural expression; I translated this through elaboration on the bright colors in its flag and the use of the circle to unify the images. They all work individually as well.

Information Design Poster - A tool to help magazine editors show potential advertisers in a visual way where their ads might be placed, as well as the general character and content of the magazine, this poster breaks down the contents of a single issue of "Colors" magazine. It is photo-heavy and has a very specific style, and places itself as a cultural commentator with information from countries all over the world.
Book Cover Redesign - This redesign of Orwell's 1984 was inspired by the dollar bill, and the book's omnipotent government; I found the imagery of the ever-watching screen to fit perfectly with the existing illustration.
