Pipes Monster - Inkwork doodle of a monster I saw in my dreams.
Retro Hyena - Doodle of a retro-style hyena. Slight texture added in Photoshop.
Robot Dog - A doglike robot I drew a few years ago, I think. Done with Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, and pencils.
Priest Scandel Newspaper Assignment - This was an assignment for an Illustration Elective. We were supposed to create an illustration based off of a newspaper article. The particular article we were given was on the Catholic priest sex scandals.
Funeral - This is a project that I did for a drawing class. The picture is a surreal allusion to the different funerary customs of various cultures. These include the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians (the heads are a cross between Anubis and a human's), Western (the black clothing), and the funerary customs of some Tibetan Buddhist monks (some of the monks would take the body out to a cliff and have the birds of prey consume it).
Memento Mori - Second drawing for the above-mentioned Drawing class. This one involves an allusion to memento mori, which was a motif in various pieces of artwork (very much prevalent in the Renaissance and Baroque periods, if I'm not mistaken), which involved visual imagery that was meant to remind the viewer of their own mortality. A lot of memento mori involve either skull or skeleton imagery.
