The Company
Orca Airways is an aircraft charter company, which services the southern Vancouver Island and surrounding lower mainland area. They are the the top recommended carriers by the majority of resorts and lodges in Tofino and Ucluelet. Orca Airways is the most endorsed airline between Abbosford and Victoria for their reliability. They also provide on-demand charters flying with-in North America.
The Solution
The logo was created to be a play on both Orca Airline’s name and service. The logo went through several iterations before arriving at the final icon. The process included thumbs, roughs, a B&W stage and several colour changes. Once the logo was created the next challenge was to set aside the rules of use. A simple booklet was created to show how the logo could and could not be used, as well as other brand particulars; like voice, typography and brand uses.
