Final Interface for Collaborative white board - Ivory Slate allows collaboration with async video, audio, animation, drawing and embedded links. Each message is saved - color coordinated by the author.
early interface designs - Ivory Slate is a collaborative white board utilizing async video to capture animated notations of drawing, embedding links, visual and audio messages.
Distilled emotions and needs diagramed - After guided storytelling, concept validation and interviews our findings are show here in the form of emotion, quotes, and desired features.
intro page allows one to start a clean slate - Ivory Slate is geared to the everyday user, those who are working in remote places but need to share ideas such as those planning a wedding, the purchase or design of real estate, academics, co-writing or graphic design. Our sample is a band that needs to collaborate on their image.
mid stream wire frame planning navigation - It was important for our team that the user be able to play back all messages, viewing and listening to the senders ideas. The user would be able to edit or draw directly on the senders image, yet the original would be archived and in tact.
Sample shot from non pro target market - It was important to us to direct Ivory Slate to users who are not tech savvy, rather those who want to share everyday ideas.
paper prototype - app testing - This process was key to the development of our final phase. It was noted users ( even HCI kids ) just wanted to "click on pictures"...
