Breville Electric Screwdriver
Breville is an iconic Australian consumer electronics company. The brief is to capture the Breville design values in a new product typology for the brand.
I built several foam models of the form that needed to house a defined set of electronic components while maintaining the clean aesthetic that identifies it as a Breville product. The final design for this electric screwdriver was selected based on it's ergonomic performance for household projects whilst satisfying the technical and aesthetic requirements.
The primary learning from this project was how to prepare a consumer product for manufacturing.
This project was part of a Product Engineering subject in my Industrial Design education.
