Cytherian Battle Cruiser MKII.
Here is the basic shape. I'm still struggling to find an appropriate alien design details that fall in line with the Stargate mythos of influencing earth culture through alien contact but also making it seem like these particular aliens are steeped in their own religious pasts. Very difficult to do indeed.
I don't know where this fits exactly. I just came up with it whilst playing around with shuttle craft designs.
Cytherian Raven MKIII. It is supposed to be shaped like an alien bird that is similar to a raven but more colourful and menacing.
Asgard F311 MK II. Looks very nasty indeed but this has moving parts that made no sense when I animated the craft folding its wings in order to fly through a Stargate so I scrapped it ultimately for a more refined - fixed wing canard design.
In keeping with the same formula - Megashp - Mothership - Cruisers - Destroyers - Bombers - Shuttles - Fighters. Anything more is just wasteful military spending.
Weapon modelling. A bit of a rat's nest going on there. Will need to model the gun separately and affix it to the wing with better detail.
This is the final version of the F-311 fighter vehicle. The ship is supposed to resemble the shape of Thor's hammer, Mjolnir - if anyone was curious about the odd shape.
F-311 MK IV. The Final version.

3D space vehicles work in progress

Space vehicle designs for my web series (still in the development stages) based on the Stargate franchise.

I'm terrible at sketching (not formally trained although I will take some classes soon) so I like to tweak and shape in 3D until something emerges. The designs are bland now because I plan to use maps and procedural textures to hammer out the details for optimum computing speed when being animated. This work here is before I discovered Zbrush.
